Green Bundles of Joy

For those of you who have read this blog for a while, you know about my tumultuous relationship with bacon. I live for the stuff and as a child, weekends and Sunday mornings (before going to temple – isn’t that ironic) were synonymous with the smell of bacon. Well it is almost the weekend and what a great week it was: an interview with Chef Jamie Lauren, a posting on, and the long-awaited Faux Miso Marinated Cod recipe – I think I’m ready for a nap. Just a quick warning – the beginning of this story is sodium-heavy – but, I promise that the ending holds a savory surprise.
